Whether headlights, tail lights or horns - many components of the tractor are electrically operated. The alternator produces the electricity and cables pass it on to the respective component. In order to be able to install these cables clearly, they are grouped together into cable bundles, the so-called cable harnesses.
The cables are secured together using hoses, cable ties or clamps. A wiring harness is less flexible than individual cables, but it is easier to install on the body. This protects it from external influences and prevents a space-consuming tangle of cables.
