🔋 Battery law notice: Information on battery disposal

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, the seller is obliged to inform you of the following:

  • Return obligation: As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. ♻️

  • Return options:

    • After use, you can return batteries free of charge to the seller or to the designated collection points (e.g. municipal collection points or retailers). 🏪
    • Alternatively, you can also send the batteries back to the seller via a shipping company. 📦

⚠️ Meaning of the symbols on the batteries:

  • Crossed-out garbage can: This symbol means that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste. 🚫🗑️

  • Pb: The battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by weight. ⚙️

  • Cd: The battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by weight. ⚡

  • Hg: The battery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass. 💧
