Fast-drying, lead-free zinc phosphate primer for iron and steel

Protect your iron and steel surfaces with our high-quality, fast-drying, lead-free zinc phosphate primer. This innovative coating provides excellent corrosion protection and is ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

Product features:

• Corrosion protection: Effective primer with excellent corrosion protection.
• Applications: Suitable for steel structures, equipment, machinery, gates, pipes and more.

Drying times at 20 °C:

• Dust dry: after about 20 minutes
• Best to touch: after about 40 minutes
• Recoatable without pretreatment: after approx. 3 hours
• Repairable without pretreatment: after approx. 3 hours

Dilution:

• Brushing and rolling: up to 10% with Prillinger Premium Universal Thinner
• Spraying and dipping: up to 20% with Prillinger Premium Universal Thinner

Processing instructions:

• Spraying (at least with 2.5 mm spray nozzle diameter), brushing and rolling are not recommended below +5 °C.

Fertility:

• Depending on the application method and layer thickness, one liter is sufficient for approximately 9.5 m² per coat.

Pretreatment:

• All surfaces must be free of rust, grease and contaminants.

Filling capacity:

• Can also be used as a filler for synthetic resin varnishes.

Cleaning:

• To clean tools such as paint spray guns, brushes and paint rollers, use Prillinger Premium Nitro Thinner or Premium Wash Nitro.
