Steyr Type 180 and Type 180a engine type WD213

The Steyr 180 was a distinctive post-war tractor from Austria, which was reminiscent of the Steyr Type 380 truck with its beefy shape and wide green bonnet. Standard features included a suspended front axle, a gearbox with five forward and one reverse gears, and a geared PTO and pulley. A hydraulic lifting gear was offered from 1950.

The engine power of the Steyr 180 was increased from 26 hp to 30 hp. In 1953, the successor Steyr 180a followed, which also offered 30 hp and was equipped with a crawler gear as standard from 1955. The "a" in the model name stood for the revised engine, which improved stability and eliminated rearing under high loads.
