Steyr Plus series – innovation and technology

The Steyr Plus series was introduced at the Vienna Trade Fair in 1967 with the Steyr 30, 40 and 50 models. The addition “Plus” stands for technical added value. The Steyr 30 was already available a year earlier, followed by the Steyr 70 and 90 models in 1968.

The model designations initially corresponded to the DIN horsepower values, with all-wheel drive versions being marked with an "a". The angular body, designed by Louis Lucien Lepoix, replaced the traditional colors with a uniform red and white.
