Steyr Anniversary Series – The Bestseller 188er

The bestseller of the Steyr anniversary series was the T188 , equipped with a 2-cylinder Steyr engine that produces 28 hp. It had a group transmission with 2 x 4 forward and 2 x 3 reverse gears, which made it possible to drive forward and backward in the same gear. The T188 was produced from 1960 to 1966 and is now a sought-after classic car as a robust, universal tractor.

The T188 is also commonly referred to as the “28er” due to its engine power of 28 hp. Other models in the anniversary series are the types 188 n, 190, 190 S, 288 and 290 .
