Steyr 8075 (a): The versatile standard tractor
The Steyr 8075 (a) was produced from 1983 to 1988 and was designed as a standard tractor, largely identical to the 8070 (a) model. An innovation of the 8075 (a) was the Optistop braking system, which enabled a top speed of 40 km/h. In addition to the standard drive types, the Steyr 8075 could also be ordered in special versions such as narrow-track, plantation, forestry, or municipal tractors.
In 1988, Steyr modified the concept of the 8075 (a) to gain a larger share of the market for cost-effective grassland and maintenance tractors. The tractor was redesigned as a ride-on tractor with a lower center of gravity, earning it the designation 8075 RS 2 (a) .
